BVG introduces the Deutschlandticket via eos.uptrade’s central ticketing backend
Hamburg, October 14, 2026.
Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) now enable their passengers to purchase and manage the Deutschlandticket (D-Ticket) via eos.uptrade's central ticketing and subscription solutions. By integrating abo.digital into BVG's existing apps, passengers are provided with a seamless, digital journey for buying and administering their subscriptions.
The solution covers the entire lifecycle of a subscription—from initial contracting and automated ticket issuance to cancellations. Passengers benefit from comprehensive self-service features, allowing them to independently manage renewals or cancellations directly and conveniently.
Successful "Silent Launch" with over 30,000 subscriptions
Even prior to any official marketing or communication campaigns, BVG experienced high demand during a "Silent Launch" phase: over 360,000 Berlin residents successfully concluded their subscription contracts for the Deutschlandticket through this channel.
Flexible configuration with abo.digital
With abo.digital, BVG has a flexible tool at its disposal to adapt the Deutschlandticket and other subscription products to individual requirements. Contract durations, cancellation periods, price adjustments, payment methods, and ticket or contract data can be managed without requiring additional development projects. This accelerates the launch of new offerings and increases efficiency in ongoing product development.
