XiXo – smartphone-based in/out ticketing
XiXo makes using public transport easier than ever. With XiXo, passengers no longer need to know the necessary fare. Neither do they need to buy a ticket before starting their journey. A simple swipe in the app is all it takes to check in, and you’re ready to go. At the end of the journey, simply check out again. In the be-out extension, the system even recognizes the end of the journey automatically. Any transfers will of course be taken into account. After the journey, the XiXo system automatically calculates the lowest fare and uses existing customer accounts with stored payment methods for billing.

XiXo can also be extended to include BestPrice optimisation. This also allows you to offer passengers a best price optimisation on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis, depending on the configuration. After the selected period, the system calculates the best ticket and price for the passenger. This eliminates passenger uncertainty about which is the best ticket and rewards frequent travellers. This additional security will increase trust and therefore generate more journeys.
BestPrice, by the way, not only can be used with in/out processes but also may be combined with traditional mobile ticketing to further improve the travel experience and provide stable prices.
