BVG and eos.uptrade Launch Third-Party Sales (B2B & ComboTickets) in New Ticketing Backend
The solution enables Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) and its partners to easily sell counterfeit-proof public transport tickets.
Hamburg, July 08, 2026. The Berlin WelcomeCard, the EasyCityPass, and various ComboTickets will now be distributed via the central BVG Ticketing Backend, based on the new eos.ticketingsuite 4. With this implementation, eos.uptrade significantly expands the possibilities for BVG and its partners in third-party sales.
The Berlin WelcomeCard is the city's best-selling tourist ticket, with up to 20,000 sold monthly. It combines a public transport ticket with attractive discounts for tourist attractions and museums. By connecting to the eos.ticketingsuite 4, BVG's central ticketing system, the sale and management of these and other event tickets are now centralized and optimized. The solution enables BVG and its partners to easily sell digital and printed public transport ComboTickets with counterfeit-proof barcodes, for example, for concerts, football matches, or trade fairs. The tickets can be personalized and digitally controlled. This increases convenience for travelers and event organizers alike.
Booking systems from renowned system providers such as Holidu, Eventim, and Ticketmaster are seamlessly connected to the ticketing backend via a standardized API interface. The modern architecture allows for quick extensions and updates without downtime.
"We are proud to make a significant contribution to the modernization and efficiency increase of ticket distribution at BVG with our eos.ticketingsuite 4," says Andreas Facco Bonetti, CEO eos.uptrade. "The successful implementation of the third-party sales module for tourist tickets and ComboTickets underscores the performance and flexibility of our solution."
