10 Years of Success: Booking Local Transport Tickets Easily in the DB Navigator – Thanks to Deutsche Bahn and eos.uptrade

47 German Transport Associations now integrated: eos.uptrade, together with DB, expands the platform for the central sale of public transport tickets. 

Hamburg, June 10th 2026. Local transport has become an integral part of traveling with Deutsche Bahn: many passengers now buy their public transport tickets directly in the DB Navigator. This is made possible by a solution from eos.uptrade, which ensures that local transport offers nationwide can be displayed and sold in the DB Navigator app and on Bahn.de. 

Since 2016, Deutsche Bahn, eos.uptrade, and Hacon have been working together to integrate as many transport and tariff associations as possible into the Bahn app, aiming to make travel with the train even smoother for passengers. The initiative has proven successful: The project started in 2016 with the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV); today, the digital sales platform eos.ticketingsuite enables ticket purchases for an impressive 47 German transport associations in the DB Navigator and on Bahn.de. Through interfaces based on the digital sales platform eos.ticketingsuite, association-specific product and tariff information is managed, and all necessary data for the booking process is provided.
