HVV and BVG app receive awards for Top Mobility App

German magazine FOCUS-MONEY asked 62,000 users to test apps regarding user satisfaction. As a result, the BVG app won the title “Top App” and the HVV app was even awarded “Best Public Transport App” in the category mobility. Both applications were developed by eos.uptrade.

“Having satisfied customers and passengers is a vital part of our work”, said Managing Director Michael Gross, and added: “It honours the commitment of our entire staff when our apps win such prestigious awards.”

As part of the competition, users anonymously analysed 290 apps from 36 different sectors. They were asked “Please rate your overall satisfaction when using the following application (app) on your smartphone?”.  

Approx. 50 million Germans own a smartphone and therefore use apps in some form every day. At present, a total of 4.3 million apps are available in Google Playstore and Apple App Store.
