Your responsibilities
- Gradual renewal and continuous improvement of our existing ticketing solution through the migration of existing functions into new applications and services
- Improving our PHP software quality and development processes
- Technical and methodological development of our PHP development team
- Security of our application and its strengthening against known security vulnerabilities
- Building a team as well as a result-oriented collaboration with nearshore development sites, especially with our external development site in Portugal
Your qualifications
- Degree in computer science or a comparable technical course of study
- Long-time experience in software development with PHP and Symfony as well as with distributed systems (e.g., microservices architectures)
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of system architectures that allow for the most autonomous development & future scaling possible
- Comprehensive knowledge of Git, Jira, and Confluence as well as agile working methods according to Scrum and Kanban combined with knowledge of deployment with AWS, Docker and K8s
- Excellent German & English language skills
