Your responsibilities:
- As a member of the management team, you will assume strategic and operational responsibility for the Operations division of eos.uptrade.
- You will lead and further develop the department while ensuring top-notch support, security, and compliance.
- You will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of 7 employees, thereby overseeing all key operational processes. You will establish yourself as a confident advisor and driver of ideas for the executive leadership and actively contribute to the development of our operational excellence.
- You will conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and negotiate employment contracts.
- You will drive organizational development, customer processes, and unified standards by applying suitable methods and tools. This includes establishing support and communication guidelines, ensuring 24/7 operations and on-call services, and implementing security and compliance measures.
- You will organize and oversee all necessary actions to achieve and maintain certifications and comply with legal regulations, such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, PCI DSS, NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, and internal Siemens Security Regulations.
- You will prioritize strategic initiatives, define escalation processes and levels, and act as the central escalation point for customers and partners. Additionally, you will conduct regular alignment meetings. Y
- You will take responsibility for the core KPIs of your role: availability, security level, customer approval and satisfaction, and compliance.
- You will collaborate closely with the Head of Development and the Head of IT.
Your qualifications:
- You hold a successfully completed degree in fields such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, or IT Management, or equivalent qualifications.
- You have several years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure planning, or managing operational and support processes within a software environment. Ideally, you possess practical knowledge from the mobility sector or a similar technology-driven setting.
- You boast extensive professional and leadership experience in IT project management, particularly in implementing infrastructure and transformation projects in cloud and DevOps environments.
- You bring comprehensive knowledge of IT security and compliance. Security is not optional for you but deeply embedded in your practices.
- You have leadership experience with a modern, result-oriented management style—you develop people and teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- You have experience in conducting various certifications and audits.
- Entrepreneurial thinking characterizes you—you act independently, solution-oriented, and with a focus on the bigger picture. You drive optimizations while critically questioning the "Why."
- You have experience in stakeholder management and collaborate as equals with customers, internal teams, and partners.
- You possess business-level proficiency in German and very good English skills.
