London - Combined power for innovative mobility! For the first time, eos.uptrade teamed up with its partners Siemens Mobility, HaCon and ByteToken for a joint exhibition appearance at the world’s largest public transport gathering. On 29 and 30 January 2019, they presented new concepts and innovative solutions at the Transport Ticketing Global in London. Following the four companies’ motto “Connected Mobility”, the topics featured at their joint stand included Mobility as a Service, Mobility Marketplace, Intermodal Trip Planning and Next Generation Ticketing (CiBo, BiBo), Demand Responsive Transit Solutions, Traveller Relationship Management and Mobility Data Analytics.
“Together with Siemens Mobility, HaCon and ByteToken, we are a strong group providing maximum added value to transport companies. Our different strengths complement each other perfectly in order to provide integrated solutions for the mobility of the future”, said Michael Gross, Managing Director of eos.uptrade. He added: “eos.uptrade will continue to present solutions that focus on mobile ticketing and online sales systems for customer data and transaction management and we will further expand this area of activity.”
In his presentation “From smart cards to smart phones - Is it just about ticketing?” on the first day of the conference, Michael Gross showed that traveller relationship management goes well beyond timetable information, travel planning and selling tickets. He further highlighted this solution’s wide range of possibilities for transport companies and their customers. On the second conference day, Geert Vanbeveren, Head of Sales and Business Development for Innovative Technologies at Siemens Mobility, added to this with a presentation about the right way to treat travellers.
